Olive is nine months and needs a clean nappy.

But to buy them, Angela, Olive's mum, will have to go without shampoo and toothpaste this month.

John has missed three job interviews in the past month.

He has all the experience for the job, but the lack of a razor to shave knocks his interview confidence. And he doesn't have the money for the bus fare.

The Collins are trying to break free from the poverty cycle. A razor can make a difference between getting a job offer or staying on benefits, a fresh nappy every day can make a difference between painful rashes and being healthy.
